Consumer products company, with focus on dietary and cosmetics, brands include Jillian Michaels Weight Loss, Strivectin, Relacore, Zantrex-3, Bremenn Labs

Define strategy and develop, execute, and manage comprehensive IT plan encompassing numerous projects and initiatives designed to generate revenue, improve business process, and provide key insights into the business. Communicate with management, internal departments, and vendors to coordinate overall IT efforts in accordance with corporate goals.  Lead and direct forward-thinking IT comprised of Support, Software Developers, QA, IT Operations, and Business Analysts staff.

Key Projects Delivered Include: 

Software Development – Ongoing website platform development using Magento (PHP/MySQL/Zend Server) for numerous product ecommerce websites such as Relacore.com, Strivectin.com,  Jillianweightloss.com, Bremennlabs.com, Zantrex-3.com.  Integration with partners such as Omniture analytics, Test & Target multivariate testing, Exact Target Email.

ERP/CRM – Enterprise system implementations to improve business process and gain insight into the business.  Implementation of Mas500 ERP & SalesLogix CRM.  These systems require numerous integrations using SQL Server SSIS, XML, .NET.

Business Process Improvement – actively lead an ongoing cross-functional team charged with improving operational objectives including on-time shipments, manufacturing, inventory turns, and new product introduction for improved quality and time to market.  As a result the company has seen dramatic operational improvements within two years.

SharePoint – corporate internal intranet using Microsoft MOSS 2007.  Consolidated several auxiliary systems and utilized document management, forms workflow, content management, and report delivery.

Network & Data Center Infrastructure – Replaced Nortel routing and switching with Cisco through-out the data center and to the closet switching.  Server consolidation with VMWare ESX server.  Added telecommunications and network redundancy by implementing BGP with multiple carriers.

Reporting and Analysis – developed business intelligence dashboards using SQL Server 2005, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Proclarity to provide management with key business metrics related to all areas of the enterprise.

Call Center – implementation of call center order management system (Java, SQL Server stack) for 100+ agent seat call center. Included computer telephony integration (CTI) to measure direct response advertising.  Numerous integrations with Cisco IP telephony and SQL Server for tracking ad response and agent conversion rates.

Telephony – Managed implementation of Cisco telephony platform company-wide including UCCX for call center to replace old Avaya system.  Project included database integration with CRM and intelligent database driven routing.

Start-up company with $5M in annual sales, 100% online.  Responsible for all company operations which included web development, contact center, supply chain, & fullfiment.   Three direct reports and 35+ total reports over three departments.

Key Contributions:

Re-designed and development of new online platform to support ecommerce experience.  Included integration with credit card processing, affiliates, and fulfillment systems.

Implemented Microsoft Great Plains financials, manufacturing, and distribution modules.

Key Contributions:

Created the companies first B2B web portal for customers to purchase online. Increased company sales and reduced customer service issues by using self service portals.

Original web developer of memories.com and makingmemories.com.  Assisted with direct marketing email campaigns.

Implemented the company’s first ERP system for distribution and financials.
